burmese paintings

From the 20th to the 27th of April 18 paintings of mine will be showed in a big bookshop in the centre of Turin: Libreria Coop, piazza Castello.

Thank you to Lorenza and Paola to organise this for me and for the people of Burma

18 of my paintings will be exhibited at the “InGenio” gallery in Torino, Italy (via Montebello 28/b) from the 6th to the 18th of March.

Thanks to my dear friend Yvonne, who last year introduced me to the organiser of this exhibition, also this year I have been invited to send some paintings. I will send three which I think fit with the theme “Planet Earth” (Helpess / My school / Every morning we wake up to the fould smell of garbage).

Without Yvonne this would never have happened and I feel so grateful to her and to Felicity for asking to show my art again this year.

An organisation working along the Thai-Burmese border to help people with alcohol and drug addiction (DARE), has asked if I would like to join an art auction with 3 of my paintings . I have accepted with happiness, knowing what a good job they are doing here for many people in distress. I chose three paintings, which will be for auction in Toronto, this coming Thursday the 23rd October. I will share the proceeds with them.
